Protecting policing by sharing buildings makes sense
Tuesday, 17 January, 2012
Mark Harper, MP for the Forest of Dean, commenting on moves by Gloucestershire Constabulary to protect front line policing by sharing buildings said:
“Sharing buildings with the District Council makes a lot of sense and will use taxpayers’ money more efficiently. This will encourage even closer working between the council and the police. It will also protect what people really care about which is front line policing – the officers out and about in our towns and villages protecting the public and fighting crime.”
